PC will not start/ boot

I was updating Win XP on my PC. Screen said do not shut down during update. I accidentally turned PC off and now I can't get it to turn on.

Can't even get PC to start in safe mode.

Can you help me get my PC started again??

It depends on what you were updating. If you were updating your firmware the computer is probably bricked. If you were updating your operating system you probably need to reinstall your operating system. If you don't have a copy of your OS stop by your local magazine stand and buy a copy of the Ubuntu magazine as it will have a bootable copy of Ubuntu in it. If your computer boots from the Linux disk you have the choice of installing Ubuntu or buying a copy of Windows to install. Good luck
