Why can't I hear and calls?

After replacing my dock adaptor, i tried to make a call and my reciever is not working. Is there something i could be missing when reassembling my iPhone 3G?

How far does the ribbon need to be in the connector?

Options

You might have missed ribbon #3- it's the real skinny ZIF connector. It's not uncommon for it to pop out in the assembly procedure at the end.
