Repeating Apple Logo after repair

I had a broken dock connector on an Apple IPhone 4S so I ordered a new one from IFixIt and got through the steps, but during the removal of the dock connector it snapped the home button cable. I ordered a new home button cable and followed the steps successfully then rebuilt the phone. When I plugged it in the apple logo came up but then went back down and this kept repeating over and over. I tried putting it into recovery mode but it does not appear in ITunes. Do you know what may be wrong?

I actually figured it out a couple hours later. Turns out the connector for the battery was not all the way in. Once I did plug it in correctly it came up with the screen that shows the battery was fully depleted.
