I have a Macbook White 1,1 . Duo core 2ghz with 2gb RAM - 150 HD
Actually is running Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.11, I have a copy of Snow Leopard 10.6 ( retail ) ,
but when I try to install the message error is showed " Isn´t possible install.. this OS in not compatibility, only run on Intel processor"
My Mac has a processor Intel..
Please help me!!

Any MacBook with 1GB can run Snow Leopard. Lion requires a Core 2 Duo, but Snow Leopard should work fine with a Core Duo.
How are you attempting to install Snow Leopard -- as an upgrade, from within Tiger? I don't believe this will be possible, because it's two operating systems back from Snow Leopard. You would first need to upgrade to Leopard, and then Snow Leopard.
The other method is to back up your data, boot from the Snow Leopard DVD by powering on and holding down the "c" key with the DVD in the drive, and then selecting Disk Utility from the pulldown menu, wiping your drive, and installing Snow Leopard fresh.

I trying to install Snow Leopard 10.6.3 .
I hold "c" but my drive DVD isnt read the DVD instalation.
I've purchsed the Snow Leopard 10.6.3 , the instalation is done, in Disk formatted, but when finished is showed a folder with "?" ... =( ,
The Drive where is the OS is with 6.7 GB used, probably is the Snow Leopard installed on there,
When booted with DVD , is not available choose drive where is the OS installation.

Hi! I'm not sure I understand your message completely. It sounds like you have wiped the drive. If the drive has been wiped correctly (formatted Mac OS Extended (Partitioned), and GUID) it should show up as a blank drive that you can install the OS to. The 6.7GB drive is the Snow Leopard DVD itself most likely...the one you want to install to should show above that, and be 120GB or 160GB. I would make sure you formatted/partitioned the drive correctly -- that's the only reason I can think of it wouldn't appear as an eligible volume for installation. Also, make sure you are closing Disk Utility, then going back to the main Snow Leopard menu, and choosing to install a fresh copy of the OS. You cannot install the OS from within Disk Utility. Anyway, let me know if I am understanding you correctly.
Excuse me. I'm having the same problem. I currently erased, partitioned and set it up with a GUID scheme but the installer is not allowing me install the snow leopard into my MacBook 1,1
What else I can do?
