Is this SSD upgrade what I need?

I am wanting to upgrade a Mac Mini Model A1176 and a macbook pro Model A1211 to SSDs. I have my plan of action and just want to confirm I am doing what I should, and if anyone has any tips. Here it is.

SSD kit with 120gb ssd: $179.95

SSD's are for writing and reading at really fast speeds, depending on what you will be doing with your computer it would be a huge improvement on saving and pulling up data on the fly with no lag time.

Ether a SSD or standard Hard Drive would be fine for a upgrade.

If a PC on a normal bases is going slow, you might want to check the systems ram, different OS require a minimum to run properly not including programs. example will be XP min is 1 gig and your current system has 2 gigs you will have 1 extra gigs to use towards programs.
