Replaced screen, it worked when I tested it, white screen after.

i just replaced the screen lcd and digitizer on my ipod 4 gen 32gb. i opened it up replaced the screen got everything hooked up and plugged it in to test it, the screen worked perfect so i then put the adhesive around the screen plugged the screen in again to make sure that i hadn't wiggled anything loose and again it worked perfectly. but then once i placed the screen and got it in place and closed up the screen now just turns white whenever anything is touched.....any insight would be greatly appreciated....

I am going to try the hard reset. I hope that fixes it.

I hard resetted the ipod and it worked out after that.

I think i might have thrown out some screens because they had the white screen. :(

Thanks socoldanny82

One more thing: Usually when I install some lcds on the corners it will have some time of bleeding when I touch the non-lcd corners. It will go back to normal after only a good 2 seconds. I still do not like to leave them for customers like this. I used a new 1mm adhesive and I think it had to with that.

if reset does not fix it, just replace the screen again - sometimes the flex ribbon on the LCD gets worn very easily on these
