What are for these smd components?

Hello,

My iphone 4 only turns on if it is connected with the cable and charged. if i take it away from the cable it turns off.

I think these two smd components are the problem. Who can say which smd components i need?

I've marked it on the picture.

The components are ordered.

I've seen, if i charge my phone, the phone turns on and the symbol is shown to connect my phone with itues.

Can it be that i only must to solder the smd components? Or why show my phobe the symbol to connect with itunes?

That is all a big depends. For as long as you have missing components and water damage, it is possible that it is the cause of your problem. It may show that symbol because it does have power issues and may want to restore or charge. Best way to go about this is one repair at a time, so as to not getting ahead of oneself.

Deelow, let me guess. It is the same logic board as in your other question:-). Anyhow, I do agree with you. These two components are part of your power supply. On your image the left is a capacitor C11_RF 27PF 25V 5% NP0-C0G 201 and the right is C36_RF 100PF 25V CERM 5% 201. You could try and remove some of the covering where the pads are supposed to be and see if you can resurrect it. C11 is available here and C36 right here. would be a shame to have to waste a logic board for $1.20 ;-) Hope this helps, good luck.

One of the solutions I read about if you have BaseBand problems, fake charging,or it restarts when charging, is to do some logic board work, it does include removing the 2 capacitors that are missing on your phone. Any chance that this work was previously done? If not, you might consider removing the two capacitors and bridging the other two as shown in the attached image. It may just help you to resurrect you phone. Just remember the size of the components is around 2mm by 1mm, so not an easy task.

It looks like your phone got wet, and your right you did loose two very small SMD components.

I'm sorry to say just in looking at your picture I don't see any solder pads left so even if you did find out what they were you have no means of electrically connecting them back.

It's time for a new logic board. But, before you go there are you sure the rest of the phone is working? You may want to think this thru a bit before you buy a new logic board.
