The central button on my iPod Nano 3 fell off.

The central button fell off. I was able to continue using the iPod by pressing the electrode directly, but after a lot of wear the electrode broke and fell off. Is there any way to fix this?

Hi did the round sliver contact on the logic board fall off?, do you still have it?, if you do there is a way to fix it, the reason why it fall off is that it is the yellow transparent sticker holding down the round silver contact down on the logic board is not sticky, so what you do is remove the silver contact from the tape and buy yourself the yellow transparent tape or find any spare on the logic board that you can use and align it to the contact then stick it, if you lose the silver contact then you should head down to any repair center, sometimes the silver round contact could be the same size on another device, device repair shop should have spare for you cheers!

I can't seem to find it, I thought I still had it around. Do you know where I might be able to find a contact online? The only apple repair shop in my town doesn't do anything with iPods. I took it in there and they turned me away, they won't even replace the cracked screen on my iPod touch.
