Why did my iPod overheat?
I used my daughter's charger and my iPod got hot and never came back on, i want to know the problem with it.

I have seen quite a few different iPods overheat, 5th Gens seem to do this, and some of the iPod 3rd gens did it as well. My old 1st gen touch used to heat up a little when charging, or using an intense 3D application. You might want to try cleaning out the dock connector (A toothbrush works great) and then try that before replacing the battery.
