What type of solder should I use on logic board

I need to solder in a new power volume button flex cable on an ipod touch 4. What type of solder should I use. Should I use solder with flux in it. Do I need to use deflux 1st to clean the original solder off the contacts on the logic board. Also what temp should the solder iron be.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Options

use lead free solder with flux inside.

your tip should be 325 celsius

1 clean pads with solder braid (putting some extra liquid flux makes things more easy)

2 put solder on pads

3 solder flex cable back in place
