Fail to start - BootRom failure ref. Apple support page.

Hi,

during normal reboot my Mac Book Pro doesn´t boot.

Only short run on each fans, light in front light up for aprox. 4 seconds and it shuts down.

If I hold down the power button the light starts fast blinking for aprox 16 times and it shuts down.

Taking out all RAM it goes into a loop and a system sound - sounds really like a failure sounds every 6 second until I press the power button again for 8 - 10 seconds / same as hardware reboot or shut off the machine.

It seems like the machine has problem booting from ROM - yes, but what do I do with that?

Thanks,

Kasper

Here's an Apple TN on what happens during the boot up process and the errors you will get: Start up sequence & error codes

Right now you have a memory error which you need to resolve first by getting some good memory installed. Then lets see what happens.
