How many sata connectors?

Hello there,

I am wondering how many sata connectors are on the logic board. I saw in a video guide about adding a ssd in a 27 inch mac, placed behind the DVD drive, that there are 3 connectors. So I wonder how it is in a 24 inch IMac from early 2009. Does anybody know this? I'd like to add a SSd to this machine , but would keep the super drive if possible.

Only has two device connections HD & optical drive.

Thanks you for your answer. So get the superdrive out of the iMac is the only solution then. Just wonder how usefull a external DVD-Writer would be then, compared to internal one. Perhaps i go for a new iMac then.....
