When i connect my ipod shuffle to the pc the orange light turns on for some time, later it blinks three time later it is put off. Then ipod remain dead, the pc recognize the device as unknown device. But when ipod shuffle from the stand, the green light comes up and put off.

PAUL CHIRAMAL, sounds to me like your battery is most likely dead. Here is the guide for the battery replacement. Start with that. At least you will have a know good point if further trouble shooting should be necessary. Hope this helps, good luck.
