Power surge due to nearby lightning strike has damaged iMac

After a nearby lightning strike we lost power and my iMac no longer powers up. After disassembly when I plug it in I can see 1 green led light up but no more. Is it the power supply?

Ouch!

Did you have your system and accessories plugged into a UPS or surge suppressor?

Lightning could have burn't more than the power supply. Do you have Home Owners Insurance? If you do check to see what is covered you maybe able to get a new system or the may cover the repair costs.

In any case you'll need to start there.

Thanks, It was protected but the internet cable was not. I may invest $130 on a power supply and hope for the best. My deductible is $500.

Thanks for the advice.
