Won't Power on or anything else.

This computer wouldn't power on at all, no fan, no sleep light, nothing. I replaced the left I/O board, and still nothing. I tried to reseat the RAM, with no effect. I am using a known good power adapter, and whenever I plug it in, it lights up green as if the battery is fully charged. If anyone could help me I would appreciate it.

What is the MBP history ? Liquid spill, dropped ?

by

Nothing. The first symptom was a pink screen with a question mark, and then nothing ever again.

remove the top case and double check your top case ribbon cable connector to the logic board socket. If the ribbon cable is no well secured to the connector the computer wont boot.

FYI:

- pink screen is often related to a failing backlight lamp

- question mark indicate that the computer can't find a valid OS to boot from = corrupted / damaged OS or bad hard drive.
