Replaced/Repaired cracked screen. Touchscreen not working...

I have disassembled and reassembled the new iPhone 4S display assembly. First off, the entire repair was so tedious with having to take apart the entire phone. I checked the new assembly thoroughly for cracks and bends or breaks in the cables and everything seems fine. I even rebooted the phone several times as well. Home button works fine. Volume buttons function, power button works. I just can't get any response from the touchscreen....

Anyone experiencing this issue/problem?

Hi, just did the display replacement on the 4S and everything went perfect including the startup BUT touchscreen potion doesn't work. I can't unlock phone because no where on screen does it sense my touch.

Did you ever find the issue with yours ?

double check that the connector for the digitizer is seated properly and that you didn't tear the cable. a digitizer DOA is rare.

I would not be surprised if the digitizer is bad if you double checked all the connections. See if you can RMA it through who you purchased it.

You most likely sliced your ribbon cable while you were putting it threw that little slot in the metal frame its very easy to do.
