I'm looking for a replacement screw (and getting different answers). The screw I have lost is, if you flip the computer over and look directly at the back panel, the screw in the top left corner. To be more specific, this is the left-most screw in the row of 4, on the optical drive side of the back panel.
Is it 5.4mm or 14.5mm or some other kind?

This is a company I buy screws from frequently. You might just buy a set for your computer and have spares for future use. Ralph

They don't have the set for my computer...any idea what size the one screw I need is?
I believe that is a 14.5mm phillips head screw but I cannot swear to it. Be careful and go slow. Ralph

I just replaced my fan on my 15' MBP --- the ones on the underside of the computer case ( 4) are all 14.5 mm Philips -- guarranteed! (where you get replacements,, though I dont know
