My battery connector is damaged

After 3 days i found the problem, when i make pressure to the battery connector with my finger it works perfect, sometimes for 5 minutes, then the iphone turn off again and no charge.

What can a i do? cleaning it? if i put something in the phone like a EVA Rubber it seems to work, this can broke the screen or something?

Thanks

Milton, that sounds like loose solder pads. Check for cracks, and you may try to resolder those.

It sounds like one of the solder 'legs' off of the battery connector has cracked. That is why you get connection when pressing down on it, but as soon as you let go, the circuit is broken.

We see these repairs frequently in our shop.

Simplest thing to do is to do a visual inspection of the solder joints if you have a USB microscope or a standard soldering scope. If the joint is cracked, you will need to resolder it.

Sounds like the lead-free solder has cracked securing the battery connector onto the motherboard.

These will need to be re-soldered professionally or if you're handy with micro soldering you can do it yourself.

yes the above picture gives you an idea of exactly what is required, simply run a wire from the damaged/missing solder pads to the marked areas and it will work fine if done properly
