Does anyone know if the nexus 7 has a 4 wire or 5 wire digitizer?

Options

Neither. It uses a Capacitive touch screen which uses a LOT of connections to the mother board. I would guess there is between 40 and 50 connections from the glass substrate to the motherboard thru the 2 connectors.
