Camera Lens Hardware Internal Problem

https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=...

My Brand new iPhone just came from Baltimore but I recently got it in the Philippines. To my surprise when I opened the box, the inside of the rear camera side was bent a bit "see photos in link". At first I thought it was just a small "hiccup" but to my surprise again, the camera works but it won't auto focus on near objects. I called apple about this problem but they told me to get the iPhone repaired in the place where I bought it, which is like "Half a world a way". I would just like my phone to be fixed and make my camera usable again. Please help me with this simple problem.

That gasket is not supposed to be in the lens field. Not sure if this is causing focus problem, but the gasket needs to be placed back into place. Open iPhone back plate and adjust gasket around lens socket, not over it as it now is placed. Close iPhone back up and see if fixed.
