Very inconvenient issue with certain keys on keyboard.

I have a late 2008 MacBook Pro, and I recently decided to clean it up a bit. I wiped the screen and keys down with daMp sponge. I then proceeded to turn on My coMputer, and I noticed that everytiMe I would try to type the letter M it wold MiniMize My window. After trying everything I could think of to fix this I realized it was hitting the coMMand key everytiMe M was pressed. It progressively got worse and now M, u, 7, J, and : hit about 6 randoM keys at once ( I had to copy paste these keys while typing this). How can I fix this problem? Its very irritating. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advanced,

Aaron.

It sounds like the damp sponge caused damage to the keyboard. It is typical that when liquid gets into the keyboard that there are strange issues with the keys, such as the ones your experiencing. The solution is to replace the keyboard. The keyboard is a part that can be replaced separately from the top case and the part should cost under $100, however you will have to find someone experienced to install this part as it requires taking apart the MacBook Pro and there is a lot of room for error. Hope this helps!
