How do I remove the display assembly when the glass pulled off?

I had the touch display glass replaced by someone else a few months ago when it was cracked (not the LCD, just the glass). Now the battery had died and I am trying to replace it myself. I removed the screws and used a suction cup to pull out the assembly. The only thing that came up was the glass! I think I see that it is stil somehow tethered near the top end so I don't want to keep tugging. Is there a way to still remove the display assembly?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi, how I do this by inserting something small like a pointed plastic knife through a small hole near the home key, but be careful not to damage the home key, and gently nudge it up. I always used the help of someone else to insert a screwdriver or something into the gap that was created when pushing the assembly upwards. Once you have done that, gently try to get the rest of it upwards. Then I disassemble the whole display screen and remove the sticker that was supposed to hold it in place and put a new one. I always have trouble not damaging the home key and in the end replace it, as opening the display once again would be too much for me. Hope this helps. If you want more info or have doubts write back. Good luck .
