Touchscreen response erratic after battery replacement.

I replaced the battery in my iPad. After reassembly the touch screen is very erratic. For example, in landscape mode, the Slide to Unlock does not respond. In portrait, it is very jumpy, mostly jumping back to the left. One time, buy moving very slowly, I was able to unlock it. Since then I haven't been able to unlock it. The single time I was unable to unlock it, it seemed fairly repeatable that near the bottom left (portrait) would respond. Only a small area on the top left would respond. The remainder of the panel provides no response.

Also, during removal of the screen, several of the metal clips broke off from the top.

Works now. I went back in and reset all connections. Now good...and breathing a sigh of relief.
