touch screen inoperative on top row of qwerty keyboard

I changed my battery. The phone powered up as expected, but the touch screen on the virtual keyboard's top row is inoperative. Also it will not accept a charge from the charger. Should I disconnect and reconnect all straps and connectors?

Hi, you best option will be to disconnect very carefully, as when I did my battery change the no 7 connector got broken, that is, the connector was still seated on the board and the cable came loose. So, very carefully undo all the connectors, display, touchscreen and earphone, then look if there is any damage. Reconnect and see if everything is ok. Write back how it went. Good luck.
