Usb / SD Ports damaged

Hello,

2 weeks ago I found out that my sd card was stuck in my macbook pro. I didn't kow why, but it was stuck.

After a lot of safely pulling the sd card got out, but since then my sd port and my usb ports has been damaged.

If I put my external HDD in one of the usb ports, and I move my laptop a little bit or I replace the HDD, I get the warning that I not proper eject my HDD.

So, both my usb ports and my sd port are damaged, is there a way I can fix this?

Can you supply the last four digits of your serial number so we can correctly ID your system. Depending on what you have you will either need a new main logic board or a I/O board.

If you pulled too hard then you might have loosened multiple solder joints between the connectors and the ports. This would only be repaired by replacing the logic board. If you move the USB cable around can you see the cage that the USB end goes into move around. This may signify that it is loose and/or broken. You can even remove the bottom cover and look for any readily apparent damage on the underside of the board. Here is the guide for removing the bottom panel on the MacBook Pro;

and you can compare it to this photo which should show you any damage that is there:

.... it's a long link because google wont let me attach it.

Hope this Helps

This is for the 2010 model which may not be the exact same as the 2011 or 2012 model that you have. If you could provide us with the last four digits of your serial number then I will update the picture and link to fit your model.
