Can I repair my MacBook alone?

Hi,

Unfortunatly i put milk on the keyboard of my macbook... Appstore wants me to pay 1300 euros of reparations but i don't have... Looking on forum, i saw your website which give me some hope : can i fix my computer by myself (i have a informaticien friend aswell) for less than 1300 euros ? Cause when i asked to take back the hard disk they said that was 40euros... so i think the stole a little bit the customers...

My macbookpro 15" is new, bought last may ...

Hi, you need to disassemble and clean the whole board with isopropyl alcohol. Although I need to warn you that this will void you warranty and you also need to be patient and gentle when cleaning the motherboard. There are videos on youtube and even repair guides on this website on how to accomplish this. Hope this helps. Write back on how it went. Good luck.
