bit left over on 4s after replacing screen

I replaced my 4s screeen and have a couple of problems. I have no wifi, gps etc.

Also I have no audio, when I make a call no sound comes through the earpiece.

This morning I found a bit of the phone I haven't put back. I have looked at the guide but I cant see it. Are these two connected?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi Tony. The piece could have something to do with your problem, although it most likely do not.

Just set your date and time to the current (disconnecting the battery resolve in having date and time set to 1. january 1970, 1:00). After resetting the date and time, reboot the phone, and your problem should be fixed. This is a iOS6 bug.

Never the less, it is never a good thing to have parts left over. Please locate the part in the iPhone 4s tear-down, and return it to its proper place :-)

Jon.

Now reading you other topic, it's clear that this i not the solution for your problem (at least not the one you are facing right now). The missing part goes between the battery-flex-clip, and the left thread-socket on the motherboard, as shown on this picture in the end of the blue spunger:

Hi Jon,

thanks for identifying the clip, its back in and my phone is complete. wifi and 3g are now working, I gave everything an extra clean and as a bonus the earpiece now works too.
