This will most likely require your keyboard to be replaced. Two ways to get this done, you could replace the whole top case or you could replace just the keyboard. Replacing just the keyboard would require unscrewing several tiny little screws to unmount it from the top case assembly, but it can be done.

So it doesn't need to replace the Logic Board, does it?!

also how much replacing the keyboard cost?

Thank you.

In my experience if the computer still powers on and the only symptom is an erratic keyboard, the logicboard is most likely fine.

If you do the repair yourself, the replacement keyboard can be found online for $50-$100.

Same problem here. Spilled some bottled water on the keyboard. It ran a while before being turned off (bad mistake). After drying it out overnight, about half of the keys on the keyboard don't work, others generate additional characters. Left mouse click doesn't open applications, need to select "open" and then it opens. Could this all be in the keyboard, or is my logicboard also bad? Is there a guide to replace the keyboard? In January 2016, is it worth fixing this MBP. Is was working perfectly before it got wet. I'm concerned that if I replace the keyboard, there may be other problem (logicboard?).

Need some advice.

Thanks

Vee
