How to choose memory and clean the fan?

I want to upgrade RAM for my Mac Mini 2011. I know it uses DDR3 1333 Mhz, 204-pin modules, but when I search, there are modules with greater speed, e.g. 1600 Mhz? Will these faster pieces make my Mac run faster or is 1333Mhz already the limit?

And when I open the machine, I saw some very fine layers of dust gathered on the fan blades. How can I clean them out?

Thank you.

To clean the system of dust I would get a small/medium soft painters brush (cheap hardware store kind). Carefully wipe the areas down (you don't want the brush to snag anything) then use canned air to blow the loose stuff away.

As to the memory stay with the same speed is best.
