Hi, I bought a second hand Iphone 3g and when i pluged it in to my computer to do a factory restore it came up with error code, 1015. I've tried to follow steps on the apple website but cannot get the iphone restore and now it wont turn on past a screen showing a usb with an arrow pointing to an itunes symbol. Does anyone know whats wrong or how I could fix it?

Down load TinyUmbrella, install it, then use it to Exit Recovery.
If you decide you want to fix this iPhone back to normal, with iPhone baseband and working GPS, go to Website, DevTeam:
Baseband Freedom and follow steps to fix you iPhone.

I tiny umbrella and ran the tss server and then pressed exit recovery. i waited a while but nothing was happening i looked in the log on tiny umberlla and the last thing it shows is this message "10/08/2012 19:21:16.842 Sending exit recovery request to iPhone" also the link for devteam isn't working. sorry for being such a novice but thanks so much for the help.
thanks for the help i've managed to get it ou of recovery but now I jail broke my iphone 3g using the 4.2.1 firmware on 05.13.04 baseband. and now i have no signal or wifi and cidya wont work! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

tomoates , this is typically caused by attempts to downgrade the iPhone software. This can occur when you attempt to restore using an older .ipsw file. Downgrading to a previous version is not supported. Would you know if this phone was previously jailbroken?

I've asked the guy who i bought it off and he said it was jailbroken and that it is on the ipad bassband. do you know what i can do to get it working? Thanks for the help!
