Why will only one side of my power button press down?

So I'm here trying to install my power button on my iPhone 4 CDMA(Verizon) and one side of the power button will press down but the other side will not.

Follow the required steps in order to have a clear view of the power button. Their are two screws below it, adjust them equally so that you get an even feeling/sounding "click" when you press down on it.

The side that does not press is tightened too much. Loosen it just a little and it should be good.
