How to fix LCD white pressure spots after LCD replacement?

After I replaced the front panel assembly of the iPod touch 4th generation, pressing firmly on the touch screen results in a white spot in the lower left corner of the touch screen. Is this a defective LCD screen or is there a reassembly issue?

Pressing firmly on the touch screen/LCD can damage the LCD itself. you may have vary well damaged the LCD. i would not recommend any excessive pressure on the screen.

When you put the 8 screws back on the metal plate protecting the mother board you didnt tighten them enough so now they are pressing up against your LCD causing ditortion. Lift the LCD and then tighten the screws more. mine did the same. and now everything is okay! just dont tighten to hard!
