Step 14 of the hard drive replacement,

in spite of the warning, I managed to pull the socket off of the logic board, how hard a repair is it? I believe it is the connection to the power on/off button.

Options

Find a tech to solder the power switch socket in place. Only two solders to do but it's micro soldering stuff so you need a very small tip on the solder iron. The other solution is to replace the logic board cause you will not be able to power on the PB from the top case power button.
