The fan of my macbook doesn't work and the computer works slowly, I was working my macbook pro 15" core 2 duo model A1226, and i then i decided to close it, when i go to opened again my computer were working so slowly and the fan doesn't work

Computer Fans cool components that produce heat such as your processor. since your fan is not working heat buildup will cause your computer to run slow.
I recommend not using until fixed.

I may have the same problem on my 15" MBP, I never hear my fan run any longer.
Any suggestions how / where to start troubleshooting the problem would be appreciated.
