My PowerBook freezes after a few minutes and a window appears asking to restart the computer holding the power button. how ca i fix this problem

You're having a kernel panic. Most of the time this grey page loads when the computer has a hardware issue (but it can also be a system software issue). Try to boot with your PB hardware test disk holding down the D key. The Apple Hardware Test software will scan your PB and will give you a report of what's going wrong with your hardware if the problem is hardware related.
