Lattice Carpenter, check the caps in your power supply. It is definitely a know issues with this model. Replace all of the regardless what they look like. Replace them with high temp capacitors. This can be cause by a bad power board, a bad YSUS board as well XSUS board. You could try and pull the YSUS board and see if your TV comes on. If that does not work, pull the XSUS board and see what you get. Right now, it does sound like a main board error. Check for anything obvious, like bulging leaky caps, burned fuses, anything charred looking.

Do you mean take the boards completely out of the tv or just unhook the cords from it

Update

I thought it was the power supply board that went bad so i purchaed a new one but im still having the same problem so i then purchased a main board but that didnt work either so what i wanted to know was can both boards go bad at the same time maybe i need to replace them both instead of relacing one at a time...

toosexi4you87 I am not sure what TV you are talking about. Is this the same TV as the original question? Why did you just replace the boards, did you check on any of the other boards? Did you disconnect them and try to start your TV? Sorry, but I am thouroughly confused...
