iPhone won't turn on after screen replacement

I did a screen replacement on an iPhone 4 following all directions, and now the phone won't turn on. The phone was working perfectly before the replacement and had about 20% battery. When the phone is plugged in to the charger it vibrates twice but does nothing else. It also vibrates when the silent toggle is switched back and forth. I did notice a small part on the main board was chipped on the top middle of the logic board. Could that have caused a connection issue within the main board. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Mark,

Your phone makes sounds and vibrates : so your phone turns on but doesn't display.

I think your display cable is not proprely pluged.

Remove battery from phone.

Unplug the display cable and the digitizer cable.

Plug them back proprely.

Put back your battery.

And then power on your phone.
