After screen replacement, screen don't turn on and device gets hot.

I have replaced some iPod touch screens in the past, all successfully. But this last one, when I tried to turn it on, it didn't show anything on screen, so I re-opened it to find that it gets very hot in the section below the front camera.

Also, iTuenes don't recognize it.

Can somebody help please?

Thanks.

yes, that's what i thought, it's CPU there. how long have you used it? your lcd is newly replace and no problem right?

Yeah, its a new lcd. But it doesn't turn on.

can you check out is it the problem with you logic board or your new lcd?

by

It's not the lcd, because the old screen neither turns on.

I've had this in the past with iPod's that suffer from water damage. I most cases the chip that handles the display functionalities got fried due to the water spill.

Nope, no water spill in this iPod. The only thing I did is replace the broken screen.
