PS2 slimline no power.
Accidentally inserted wrong power adapter into PS2 Slimline, now I have no power. Is there a fuse or some other component that I have to or can replace inside to get it working again?
Is this a good question?

John, attached image will show you all the fuses on your logic board. Use a multimeter to check for continuity of those fuses. Pay particular interest to the resettable fuses. Of course, look for any charred, burned, or missing component as well. Hope this helps, good luck.

Cheers for the diagram oldturkey and thanks for the help
you are welcome, good luck.
Stupid question, how do you reset the fuses??
Resettable fuses should reset automatically when the power has been off for a while.

Most likely happened is that it powered on and soon after a capacitor or circuit got fried.
if this is true was there any smoke or the smell of something burnt?

Hi oldturkey there was no smoke or smell, the device just simply failed to start. For this reason is why I thought that there might be a protective fuse.
