Replaced home button, now display doesn't work.

Display won't work, phone rings, seems to power up normally and is detected by iTunes. I followed the guide to install a new home button and the display hasn't worked since.

Thanks for the tips. Still not working. I think I may have damaged the flex cable.

Reset, hold both home and power button until the iPhone begins to restart. If fixed done. If still no display after Reset then, you need to retrace your steps and carefully reconnect the LCD Display Connector to the Logic Board perfectly.

if not working after connector check, check the flex...

inserting the flex in the slot in the frame, many people bend or pinch the flex .... check you have entered it correctly, it could be remained folded behind the glass ...
