looking through window no picture is seen

Louise, I assume your lens is fully extending. It sounds like your CCD sensor is not working properly. If your pictures do show properly it is on the circuit to the LCD, if your pictures have a tint or do not come out, you do have issues with your lens. Check your circuit board for any corrosion, loose connection or torn cable.
