Why my iPhone display is specular?

Hi guys!

I was repairing a iphone 3gs (dropped in water) ... routine, disassembly, cleaning with alcohol, clean the oxidized zones, inspection etc. ....

afteri replacing the lcd (not the entire front panel, only LCD) and reassembled, it on properly but .......... the apple showed at boot is flipped horizontally! :)

startup is complete, but the entire image is mirrored!

To explain, slide to unlock cursor is at right of the display, but you can move it sliding from left to right....

I had repaired bilions of iPhone in years, but that, that's incredible :)

Any idea?

the first thing that comes to my mind is a software prob. try a restore.

next thing that comes to mind is that because of the water damaged it has damaged a capasitor or a resistor that may effect the phone in thta weird way. in which case it would be a mother board problem. im not educated on component repair so i cant help here

BUT ive seen some really weird things to water damamged phones. im not suprised about somthing like this.
