Is the cpu replaceable?

i wonder if i can upgrade the cpu with a Core 2 Duo Modell with the same tdp.

Is it soldered or does it have normal pins or balls and is just pushed into a socket?

This is a macbook 1,1 far as I know the CPU is soldered in.

You could upgrade to an SSD , nice improvement, even thou its not part of your question its a pretty easy upgrade for your macbook, assuming your RAM has been upgraded.
