3 solvable problems, but how?

So I replaced my screen once,

accidentally cut the ribbon cable that controls the power button and proximity sensor,

took the phone back apart,

replaced the speaker (it was sounding funny),

and replaced the ribbon cable.

I've now cracked my screen again, and am ready to do an overhaul of the phone, but I have a few questions first.

I have a replacement kit for the aluminum chassis to turn it black. Any pointers on how to make this a smooth operation?

I have a blue mirrored screen replacement, and don't forsee any issues installing that.

When replacing the ribbon cable, I noticed the front facing camera, and proximity sensors are held secure with a light glue compound. Keeping them in place is very difficult without that glue. Any idea where I can find a suitable replacement?

Any suggestions on a higher quality flex cable for the proximity sensor and power button?

Any suggestions for a higher quality speaker, or how to make the replacement sound Clearer and Louder??

Two new issues have arisen after some problems reassembling.

Last time I took her apart, I ordered a complete screw set, and bought a digital caliper to measure every screw and replace accordingly using the guide here on the site.

The post that holds the gold finger near the bottom left corner of the battery is stripped.

Since this most recent occurance, my GPS is often very out of wack and has problems holding satellites, also, the '3G' next to my carrier very often turns to a little circle, in places where it previously didn't.

Thanks in advance for everyone's assistance.
