Logic Board Part numbers (interchangability)

Are the following logic boards interchangeable? Is the part number printed on the board someplace, and if so where?

Early 2008

2.5 GHz - 661-4625

2.6 GHz - 661-4690

Late 2008

2.5 GHz - 661-4963

2.6 GHz - 661-4964

According to EveryMac.com there should be no problem swapping between same model years the "upgraded CPU" being the only difference.

So going from the 2.5GHz to 2.6 should be OK. What about from early to Late 2008. So for instance if I have 661-4625 can I substitute 661-4963. I think I have 661-4625 (but not absolutely sure) and I think I have a source for new 661-4963 but only used 661-4625 and a those are similar price or more, so if 661-4963 is OK, that would be preferable.

I have not done such a swap, but looking at EveryMac & some vendor information they are interchangeable.
