won't connect to any computer
my ipod want connect to any computer it is saying malfunction it is a ipod touch 2nd generation what should i do

Try this:
*Connect you ipod to the computer.
- Turn it off
- Press power button for 3 seconds, then without releasing it, press the home button till the ipod turns off. After this, keep holding them for about 5 seconds and then release the power button.
- The computer should recognize the iPod in "DFU mode"
Please let me know if it worked. If not, i can provide many other solutions.
