Key stuck in the egntion

Check to see if the drive wheels are being resisted by a curb or other obstruction. The steering wheel could also be turned to its limit -perhaps nearly up against it's stop. If so, pull the steering wheel further in that (limited) direction until it is at the stop while simultaneously removing the key. If it is a curb that is causing the back pressure, you should not need to turn the steering wheel to its limit before removing the key.
