Will Mid 2009 Logic Board work in Early 2009?

I have an early 2009 Macbook Pro that has a bad Logic Board. Does anyone know if a mid 2009 board will work? The computer was given to me in this state and i am unsure of the exact board that is in it. I have done quite a bit of research and it looks like a 2.66 or greater.
