Upgrade Hard Drive with 1 TB 5400 RPM Toshiba SATA Hard Drive

My Mac Mini comes with 300GB of HD, but I want to upgrade it to a 1 TB using 5400 RPM Toshiba SATA Hard Drive; without replacing its default HD.

What do I need and How?

Can I run the Snow leopard and all my mac programs on the new drive?

Will both HD will be running at the same time?

Thanks a lot.

Hi,

You will need a dual HDD kit, you can see the setup guide and the parts here:

Installing Mac mini Mid 2011 Dual Hard Drive Kit

You can run SL and all your programs as the new drive will be for storage.

Yes, both HDD's will be running at the same time.

Regards,

Jay
