MacBook Pro suddenly no power

Suddenly my macbook pro will not boot... there is no power at all - no reaction. When I connect to the charger, it just show the green light, but no booting or power when I press the power button, it is just dead...

any suggest ?

Liquid spill? Dropped? Is this the same machine?

No this is my brothers machine, he told me that he did not drop it. He was working in the evening, next day it was dead.

Is the green light of the magsafe adaptor bright green or somewhat low? If its low, then the charger is shot and you have a drained battery that's why you have no power. It happened to me. Luckily my wife has a newer macbook pro that's same as mine and I confirmed that my magsafe is damaged and not able to give charge. I suggest you bring the mbp to a reseller and try one of their adaptors charging the mdps on display to confirm this. From what you've related, I don't think the mbp is anyway damaged. You may just have a drained battery since your brother was working on it the night before and may have left it to sleep with a very low charge remaining and may have totally drained the battery by morning (mbp on sleep mode still eats juice). Worth a try...
